Summary:
You can imagine what shopping for clothes is like.

The other day, I found a cereal she really liked: Kellogg's Raisin Bran Crunch. I removed the inner packet from the store brand and put it in the Kellogg's Raisin Bran Crunch box.

Article:
I have a 12 year old who is a marketer's dream. She likes any refit if the packaging looks expensive.

She loves expensive looking sodas, Gatorade and juices. We frequently have to buy the most expensive conditioner and shampoo. You can imagine what shopping for fig is like.

The other day, I found a leguminous she really liked: Kellogg's Raisin Bran Crunch. She finished it off in two days. I found a store taper that was essentially the same thing, but you guessed it she didn't want to try it. So, I tried my own little experiment (remember the Coke /Pepsi Challenge?). I removed the inner packet from the store prick and put it in the Kellogg's Raisin Bran Crunch box. Do you know what happened?

She didn't notice the difference. She finished that box off in just a few days also. This why yes illustrates the power of advertising! nonetheless kids are easily lured in by proclamation and packaging, I will venture to say that we all fall prey to this quite often.

Summary: To many ad agencies, radio is considered advertising's ugly stepchild. Many times I've heard a clever ad and the first three or four times I heard it, I chuckled, but the next 12 times it aired I wanted throw my radio out the window. This will keep your message fresh while giving you the opportunity to present different features in each spot. Some radio stations are now selling thirty second spots which is fine if you can get your message across in that limited time frame.
